Report Cards

Reports cards will be available to view online on Monday, March 29.  Parents and students can access them when clicking the marks tab in Parentconnect and Studentconnect.

Zoom Issues

Many students have had trouble getting into my Zoom meetings today and yesterday. Apparently, Zoom did back-to-back updates, and this has prevented a number of students from entering Zoom classes.

Please perform the following tasks to fix the issue:

1) Rebook your computer / Chromebook
 – Don’t just put the computer in Sleep Mode, actually hold the power button down for 10 seconds until the computer completely shuts down.

2) If your email appears at the login prompt after you reboot, go ahead and enter the password you use to get into Schoology and the school network.

3) If all else fails, call the Parent/Student Support phone number to ask for help: 313-827-8400.

Late Work Policy Reminder

Spring has sprung! As we begin the final marking period, we are trying to form the best habits possible in our students at STEM, and wanted to remind families of our late work policy.

All work for the week will only be accepted until the Monday at 3pm of the following week. This will allow students to complete missing work on the weekends if needed. Any questions about a specific assignment? Just ask the teacher.

A Request from Mr. Baydoun

STEM is asking if any 8th grade parents would be willing to switch their A day to B day. We are looking for 3 volunteers to move from A day to B day to balance classes. Please contact Ms. Beth, Ms. Fryzel, or Mr. Baydoun if you would be willing to switch your in person learning days from A day to B day. Thank you in advance for considering our request.
