Absences: When reporting absences, please call the office before 9:00 a.m. at 827-1904.   When school is not in session, a message may be left on the auto attendant to  report an absence.  We appreciate all the parents that have been calling to report their child absent. To find out what work a student has missed, please visit the teachers’ blogs.

Drop off: STEM students will be asked to wait outside the building before school at the covered entrance off Ann Arbor Trail closest to Warren. Students should not arrive to school or be in the building before 7:50 a.m. due to lack of  supervision; If your child is on our lunch program they may enter at 7:40 and go directly to the downstairs cafeteria for their breakfast and eat it upstairs in our cafeteria.

Pick Up: STEM is a school of choice, and parents have agreed to dropping off and picking up their children from school on time.  We understand this can be a hardship, however Dearborn Public Schools does not provide transportation to families who do not attend their home schools.  Students should be picked up no later than 3:05.

If a parent is unable to pick up their child from 2:55-3:05, please contact the office @313-827-1904.  Students need to report to the office if their ride is not here by 3:05.

If you have special circumstances or you have relatives that go to the elementary school and you want your older child to wait for them before being picked up you should sign your child up for our after school care program.

When picking up your child early or dropping them off late, please come to the main office to sign your child in or out.
