The original section of the Dearborn Heights Campus was built in 1951.  The Michael Berry Career Center was added in 2005.  Plans for the building include moving the special education program for severely impaired students to a new Nowlin-Smith school.  The remainder of the building would be remodeled.

The Heights Campus includes Howe Montessori and Special Education Center; STEM Middle School; the Dearborn Center for Math, Science and Technology; Michael Berry Career Center; and the Dearborn Magnet High School.

Estimated renovation costs: $31,322,370.
