Chess Update
During yesterday’s match, the STEM chess team won against Bryant 12-0. The last match of the year is next Tuesday, March 6th against Stout.

Congratulations to STEM’s chess team for their win 11-1 over Salina yesterday. Their next match is Thursday against Bryant.
Reminder: All science boards are due on Friday, March 9. All 6th and 7th graders will be given two work days in Mr. Segerstrom’s class next Monday & Tuesday to assemble their boards. All 8th graders are on their own to assemble boards. If you need things printed, just email any teacher:)

Newspaper Club will NOT meet this week. Mr. Tawile will not be here:) Next week, Newspaper Club will meet on Thursday, 3/8 because of conferences.
Yearbooks forms were sent home today with students to order their yearbook for this school year. The basic yearbook is $16.00 Checks are to be made payable to LIFETOUCH. Spring Conferences will be held on Wednesday, March 7. We will NOT be running student-led conferences this time around. Instead, we are going to use this time as an opportunity to meet with the parents of students who will be receiving a progress report. Rather than mailing, we will hand out progress reports during conferences….
The chess team has a match tomorrow, Feb. 27 against Salina. Members of the chess team will be dismissed at 2:35 pm.
