It’s almost time! You can smell it in the air. There is that subtle change in the feel of the day. Summer vacation is coming to a fast end and Back to School commercials and sales are in full swing. As we get closer and closer to the first day of school, we will share more information on our blog, but here is some important information to get started:
STEM Middle School’s new start and end times are 7:50 AM – 2:45 PM.
Half days will end at 10:55 AM.
The first day of school is MONDAY, AUGUST 30TH. It will be a HALF day of school.
New lunch times are as follows:
6th grade lunch is at 10:48 AM
7th grade lunch is at 11:40 AM
8th grade lunch is at 12:32 PM
You SHOULD be able to see your schedule the weekend before school starts on Student Connect. Teachers will be outside on the first day to help students find where they are supposed to be.

A regular backpack
Combination lock (for gym only)
6th graders need 4 single subject notebooks or composition notebooks (college or wide ruled – your choice). NOT a 5 subject notebook.
7th and 8th graders need 3 single subject notebooks or composition notebooks (college or wide ruled – your choice). NOT a 5 subject notebook.
* 7th and 8th graders need their ELA interactive notebooks that they created with Ms. Fryzel. If you do not know where that notebook is 🙁 Then you
will need 4 notebooks.
5 folders with pockets
Loose leaf paper in each folder
A pencil pouch with zipper containing:
pencils
erasers
small sharpener
scissors
glue
markers/colored pencils
Water bottle
Wireless mouse (HIGHLY recommended)
Earbuds/headphones (HIGHLY recommended)
Graph paper
Personal hand sanitizer
A box of Kleenex for A-Square teacher
A 1 inch three ring binder ONLY if you have music
Do NOT Bring:
Backpacks on wheels
A lock with a key
Binders – they do not fit in the lockers.
