I am thrilled to extend an invitation to you and your educational community for the University of Michigan, Rogel Cancer Center’s annual signature event, One Day Closer. This exciting event is scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2024,in Ann Arbor, and we are eager to engage high school students (8th-12th grade) in a day filled with enriching experiences.
Designed to spark curiosity in cancer research and care, One Day Closer features insightful career panels, interactive activities, and direct engagement with experts from the Rogel Cancer Center. Registration is free and lunch is provided for all attendees. We believe this event holds immense value for your students, STEM teachers, and families.
We kindly request your assistance in spreading the word about One Day Closer within your network. Moreover, our Rogel Training, Education, and Career Development team is available to discuss any inquiries from teachers interested in bringing a group of students to the event or any families with inquiries.
