Monday is Grade Level Colors


Hot Cocoa and Cookie Sale


Next Tuesday, December 18th, during all lunch periods, student council will be selling hot cocoa, peppermint candy, and cookies.

Bring a couple dollars if you wish to enjoy some holiday treats at lunch.

The cost will be $1 for hot cocoa and $1 for cookies.

Pennies for Patients Totals

Thank you to all who participated in the Pennies for Patients fundraiser.
STEM raised $173.44 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
The winning A2 was Ms. Bissonette’s class with $80.81!


Spirit Week is Dec 17th-21st


Student Council has decided on the following days:

Mon 12/17 Grade level color day! Wear your grades designated color. 8th wears black, 7th wears blue, 6th wears white. white

Tuesday 12/18 Sports Day (wear your favorite team’s jersey or logo shirt!)

Wednesday 12/19 Career (dress up as the career you want!)

Thursday 12/20 Decade Dress Day (1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, early 2000s)

Friday 12/21 PJ day (be comfy and warm on the last day before vacation!)

The A2 class with the most participation wins a prize on the last day.


Thursday is the Hat Day Fundraiser


Our last chance to raise money for the robotics team will occur tomorrow.

Students that wish to wear a hat to school should donate $1 to their A2 teacher on Thursday, Dec. 13.

Tomorrow is a Late Start & Gingerbread Houses


School will begin one hour later tomorrow.

Gingerbread house making will take place after school tomorrow from 2:15-3:15 pm. Please pay Ms. Fryzel $5 during the day tomorrow if you haven’t paid already.


Future City Model Supplies Needed

Hello STEM families!
Next Monday, December 17th, the STEM Apps classes will be designing and constructing Future City models in class. We’re reaching out to see if you would be willing to donate any of the following household supplies for our project:
-Plastic/paper/disposable cups, plates, and bowls
-Pipe cleaners
-Empty/rinsed pop or water bottles
-Construction or colored paper
-Recyclable materials: empty/rinsed bottles (shampoo, condiments, etc…), empty yogurt cups, empty/rinsed toiletry containers, empty Kleenex boxes\
-Masking or scotch tape
-Any other useful craft supplies
All donated items can be dropped off in Mr. Segerstrom’s room.

Holiday Treat Sale Tuesday


STEM will be holding a Holiday Treat Sale before school, during lunch, and after school on Tuesday, Dec. 11.  Bring some money and support our robotics team’s trip to the state competition!

Poinsettia Orders

Poinsettia orders are available to be picked up on Thursday Dec. 6th and Friday Dec. 7th between the hours of 1:30 – 2:30pm from the music room (D170).

Gingerbread House Making


Do you wanna build a….Gingerbread house? Well now is your chance.. on December 12, 2018  after school from 2:15- 3:00 Stem students can make and take home a personalized Gingerbread house in the Art Room.

The cost is $5.00 to participate – payable to Ms. Fryzel or at the door on Wednesday.
