The 8th graders had a great time today at U of M, Dearborn. They worked in teams to take samples from the pond and identified their findings.  

STEM celebrated Care to the Core Day 2019 with students from Howe school. Ms. Hartrick’s strings students helped out some jr. players.

Monday is the last day to turn in money.  We have low numbers as of now and this is a great event for the students and community to participate in. Permission Slips for the Color Run are due to Mr. Theisen by Monday, April 29!

Congratulations to STEM student Lauren Boyce! She was chosen as a recipient of the 2018-19 Juror’s Choice Award for her artwork. STEM continues to be proud of their artists!

If you are coming to Chicago with us, the last payment and health form are due by Wednesday, May 1. 

8th graders should be sure to dress for the outdoor experience at U of M, Dearborn. Please wear a hoodie/jacket and boots or bring a change of shoes to keep in your locker. Here is the field trip permission-Pond Study.

The Stout Theatre group, which includes several students from STEM, is performing their Spring musical this weekend. Drop in and see our students perform! April 25 & 26 at 7pm, and April 27th at 2 & 6 pm.

Today the Lebanese American Heritage Club (LAHC) came to talk with our students about the dangers of drug and alcohol use. This presentation is in line with the Dearborn Public Schools Framework and is arranged for by Dearborn Public Schools. You may want to ask your son/daughter about this presentation when they get home today.
