This year’s yearbook had a mystery in it. Which staff member stole our National Blue Ribbon? Ten students correctly put the clues together and discovered that it was Mr. Tawile! Congratulations to Natalya Ghasham who won a $20 gift card to Target after her name was pulled out of a hat.

The yearbook publisher ran off too many yearbooks, so we have extra this year. Extra yearbooks will be on sale in Ms. Fryzel’s class for $20 (exact change only). Supplies are limited.

It’s that time for 8th Grade Promotions! It’s time to celebrate your child’s accomplishments during the past three years of middle school! We need your help in making this a successful event. The STEM teachers and staff would like to thank everyone for such a wonderful Teacher’s Appreciation Week. We were fed very well. I am not sure how we will go back to packing sandwiches for the week! Thank you again for your thoughtfulness.

The STEM PTO will be selling pizza after school for the next four Fridays.

M-STEP testing starts tomorrow (Wednesday) and continues Thursday. It is important that students get a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, AND that they are in school on time both days. It would be very helpful that any appointments scheduled could be on a different day or later in the afternoon; we really appreciate it….
