STEM 2024-2025 Admissions Timeline

| Monday, April 8th | Post online application for charter/private school students as well as interested new 7th and 8th grade students. Current 5th grade DPS students need NOT apply. We will send invites to those that qualify based on results of Spring iReady.* |
| April 8 – April 26 | iReady test administered to ALL 5th graders. Elementary schools will need to finish testing the 5th graders for Math and Reading No later than Friday, April 26th. |
| Wednesday, April 24th | Online applications due back |
| Monday, April 29th | District Assessment office forwards testing data |
| Wednesday, May 1st | Invitation letters to students sent outEmailed to parents, students, and principals |
| Tuesday May 7th | Virtual Q and A for invited students and parents from 6-7pm on zoom |
| Tuesday, May 14th | Students need to respond to invitation |
| Thursday, May 16th | Lottery held – if needed |
| Monday, May 20th | Acceptance and waitlist letters sent outEmailed to parents, students, and principals |
| Thursday, May 30th | FINAL day to accept admissions |
Students qualify for an invitation if they meet the following requirements:
- They score in the 85th percentile or above on both the math and reading iReady SPRING tests.
AND
- They scored a 3 or 4 on the math and ELA M-STEP tests in 4th grade.
