Extra SAT Practice
0All 8th graders in the Dearborn schools will be taking the PSAT is the Spring of 8th grade.
In addition to that, Center for Talent Development (CTD) at Northwestern University is offering STEM students the opportunity to take the SAT as early as 7th grade. Please see the NUMATS family guide for more information.

0STEM Spirit Wear sale ends this WEDNESDAY. Please turn in all orders in to Ms. Fryzel by the end of the day Wednesday, October 2nd. I fully anticipate the order to arrive by Halloween!

0There are only 7 seats left for the Alpena trip. I fully expect that this will fill before October 1st. So, if you are interested in going… I would NOT wait!

Alpena Trip Meeting
0Thank you to everyone who came to the Alpena Trip Meeting last night! Attached is the powerpoint that we couldn’t show last night.For those of you who could not attend, no problem! We still have seats left! Attached is all the information that was passed out last night. In order to register and reserve your seat, you need to return the following items to Ms. Fryzel no later than October 1st – HOWEVER, if the 45 seats sell out prior to October 1st, you will be put on a waiting list. So, don’t delay!
Return:
1. A check made out to CORPORATE TRAVEL for $175. If sending cash, please make it exact change. Anything over $175 will be applied to your 2nd payment.
2. The registration form
3. The Student Eligibility sheet signed by a guardian AND the student
4. The chaperone interest sheet if you would like to attend.

7th Grade – Religious Diversity Journeys
0Religious Diversity Journeys (RDJ) is a field trip program that gives 7th graders the opportunity to visit a variety of houses of worship in the metro Detroit area over the course of the school year. During each visit, students learn about customs of a faith, ask questions, share a meal, and participate in service-learning activities designed to promote the values of service to others and respect.
Each middle school is allowed up to SEVEN (7) participants. If you are interested, please see the attached application. Fill out the form and return it to Ms. Fryzel no later than Thursday, October 3rd.

0Tomorrow is a late start. School will begin at 8:15am. Breakfast is at 8:05am. Dismissal remains the same. Please remember to pull forward before getting out of the car!
