Vista Maria Necessity Drive
Monday, April 16- Friday, May 11
Vista Maria’s specialized intensive residential treatment programs for adolescent girls are operated from our 37-acre Dearborn Heights campus. All programs have access to support services including a health clinic, an on-site junior and senior high school operated by the Clara B. Ford Academy, a large cafeteria, recreational facilities, meeting rooms, a chapel, and administrative offices. We recently added two new state-of-the-art mental health buildings to address the growing need for mental health care for girls. Our campus can accommodate 165 clients at any given time.

STEM Middle School and DCMST high school students will be putting on a ‘Spring into STEAM’ event at William Ford Elementary on April 19th. Our students have SO many great ideas and have been working on incredible projects and activities! Unfortunately, we short on materials and supplies. Help our students demonstrate their skills, knowledge and leadership by bringing exciting learning opportunities to the elementary students and families of our district. Around 200 families are expected to be in attendance!
Please help us out, if possible. Check your junk drawers, backs of your cabinets and see what you can find. Every little bit adds up. If we get too much, we will just be more prepared for the next event.
To ensure that all students are safe during drop-off and pick-up times, please follow the proper traffic patterns. We need all parents to pull into the parking lot and create two lanes of traffic. We cannot have cars stopped out on Ann Arbor Trail. Also, DO NOT stop on Ann Arbor Trail to pick up a student. Please pull into our parking lot to keep traffic moving on Ann Arbor Trail. Pick-up is to be done by the green classroom exit doors, not directly in front of the school.
Thank you for your cooperation!
