Student Council Elections will be held during A2 on Monday, October 17th – Thursday, October 20th with election results on Friday, October 21st.
Reminders for those who join student council:
- Poster and locker decorations need to be taken down by Friday, October 21st. Anything left up at 3:00 pm will be thrown away.
- Please give your $25 club fee to Ms. Laramee for student council ASAP. Make checks out to Dearborn Public Schools. This is a one-time fee that covers all clubs, all year long.
- Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 25th from 3:00 – 3:45 pm. We will be making Halloween treat bags for Monday.
Fundraiser: Donate $1 and wear pink on Pink Out Day Friday, October 21st. Dress in pink to support cancer research.
Candy-grams will be sold during A2 on Wednesday, October 26th – Friday, October 28th.
PLEASE consider donating a bag or two of Halloween candy before the Oct. 25th meeting. On Monday, October 31st the treat bags will be passed out during 6th hour.
Big Game Weekend Wear your Michigan vs Michigan State sweatshirts to support your team on Friday, October 28th.
Spirit Week: Monday, October 31st – Friday, November 4th.
- Monday: Halloween costumes: no weapons, no clowns, no face make-up, no wigs, no masks; no color spray in school. You must dress at home.
- Tuesday: Dress like a professional day.
- Wednesday: Twin Day
- Thursday: STEM Pride Day: Wear your STEM T-shirt, sweatshirt, or lime green and royal blue.
- Friday: Pajama Day: Please wear Pajamas that are appropriate for school.
Friday, November 4th will be Spooky Movie Night in the lecture hall from 3:00 – 4:30 pm. There will be $1 entrance fee for the movie. The spooky movie will be chosen by student council. The PTSA will be selling goodies to eat during the movie. Unfortunately, the movie location is in the lecture hall and food is not permitted. Snacks will have to be eaten outside of the hall.
