Hello STEM families!
We are in need of some help with the second annual Welcome Picnic for STEM School, which this year is set for Sept. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. Please bring your families and come meet the STEM teachers!
The evening will feature free games, food for sale, distribution of class schedules, the chance to see the new classroom locations, and even the opportunity for students to practice opening their lockers! We are hoping parents can sign up to volunteer for an hour to help make the evening a success. Responsible eighth-grade students are also encouraged to sign up to help run games and welcome other students and their families. In addition to volunteers, we also need donations for the bake sale and empty two-liter bottles to use with stomp rocket launchers. (See the Signup Genius.) If you are available, please visit our Signup Genius page by clicking here.
Last year, this event was a fun way to help students transition to or back to STEM, and we hope for the same this year. But we need your help!
Thanks in advance. And see you in a couple weeks!

A few people have been asking about supplies, so here is the post from earlier in the school year regarding suggested school supplies, not required. Please let any teacher know if you are in need of a folder or composition book once school begins.
Note: No giant zip up binders (you should have a separate folder for each class) or rolling backpacks, please.
